Stories galore!
We have been regular visitors to the region (mostly for the wine!) but didnt realise just how much we were missing - or taking for granted - until we had the pleasure of listening to the knowledgeable Jürgen Czielinski. How much history and how relevant the region is in today's Europe. And he also recommended some excellent vineyards we had never visited before, hidden gems which we have added as new favorites to which we will definitiely return in the future, thanks Jürgen!
From Mosel to Rhein and Ehrenbreitstein!
Two hours is simply too short to take in the wonders of the Koblenz but the particular highlights picked out by Jürgen left us sure to come back for more on another visit. What a great city!
Rheinland gem!
With Koblenz's central location we have often driven past on our way to other destinations but this time we decided to stop for a day or two and explore. Looking for something unusaul we decided to take one of the Koblenz-Identity tours to get the most out of our short visit. And boy we were not let down - had we had two weeks to wander the city on our own we would never have discovered as much as we were shown by Koblenz-Identity! I doubt we will be driving past again, as for us, this is an excellent distance to break our journies and clearly has way more to offer than we ever dreamt!
